Abby McCarthy, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Abby received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Illinois State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, with a specialization in Community Mental Health.

 

Abby has over 15 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings with a diverse client population including both long-term and brief interventions. 

 

Abby has extensive Crisis Intervention experience and has worked as a Mental Health Case Manager & Therapist, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Outpatient and Residential Specialist, and Clinical Manager within an outpatient mental health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Abby has provided trainings on a variety of mental health topics in various community and professional settings. Abby is an active and long time member of The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and a member of The Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS).
